does stag have mid-length? or will it have one in the future?

They don't, and don't seem inclined to make them. It's been suggested to them. Repeatedly.

I LOVE my three Stag lefty uppers, but the lack of a mid-length has kept me from replacing my last right-ejecting AR with a Stag.
Rainier Arms offers White Oak Armament barrels with ambi extensions in mid-length gas, but only in Stainless Steel.
If you want a standard 16" chrome lined govt. profile with FSB you're outa luck.
If Stag made a mid-length, I'd buy my fourth.

Yes, you can buy a left handed upper and bolt group, and have a barrel custom made with an ambi extension.

That's easier said than done though... I ordered an ambi extension from Stag, then tried to find someone to make a custom barrel for me. Everyone I contacted (including ADCO, CMMG, and others) said it just wasn't really something that would be do-able as a one off for a reasonable price. I also seem to remember headspace issues being cited from some as well.
I'd still love to find someone who would do it, but if it's going to cost me $350+ for a govt profile chrome moly chrome lined barrel, it would be more financially prudent to go with a readymade Stainless barrel from Rainier

What kind of barrel configuration are you looking for? "govt profile chrome moly chrome lined", length?

That's one I'd love to have. I'd also like an 11.5" med. profile as well, but mid-length is top priority. Any suggestions?

Hey StagArms mod!!! Since you responded in the 9mm thread, how about some insight into the possibility of you guys offering mid-length gas systems in your current calibers?
I can tell you that, in my rifles, mid-length gas rifles ARE softer recoiling and less gas in the face than my carbine gas system rifles, so I believe there is merit above that of "fad" status.

At this time we still do not plan to work with the mid-length gas system.
