I'm potentially looking to buy a Stag 2T. I like Stag's reputation for quality, that their guns are known to eat anything and that they manufacture their own parts. I'm specifically looking at the 2T with the quad rail already installed and flip up rear sight. However, I'd prefer the front sight to be flip up as well vs. the front post that the 2T comes with.
So here's the question: Can the front post sight be easily removed? Then what? Replace with a gas block and flip up on top? Any reason I would not want the flip front?
Opinions? Thanks.
If ordered directly from us while the rifle is being manufactured we can install a gas block instead of the standard front sight at no cost.
I wish I knew that before I bought mine...

Are you finding it interferes with other optics?
If I had the option, I'd go with a flip up front.
