Sights for Stag Upper Half Model 3H

Would the front & rear sights be the same profile height on this model?
I received this upper half recently & never asked STAG this question.

If you mount a flip-up sight on the gas block, it is going to be quite a bit lower than the rear. I have GG&Gs on my 3L and I had to crank the post all the way up to get it close to zero. I moved it onto the forend once I got a 4-rail and it works much better. Hope this helps. I can't speak for other sights besides GG&G but I assume they would have the same problem.
