Is $1199.00 a pretty good price for this or is it expensive? A local gun store got a few in and i am thinking about getting myself one. I just want to make sure they are not screwing me.

I have a 2T and I love it. I paid $1000.00 for it around 1.5-2 years ago. I'd say that $1199.00 isn't a bad price considering the current market. I'd buy it.

Retail on a Stag 2T is $1150. At least thats what Stag, and another dealer told me. I don't think $1199 is that bad. I would have paid up to $1300 for mine. Got it for exactly $1150.

That's not outrageous. For what its worth, I picked mine up Saturday for $1100. Its a sellers market, so you don't have any leverage to barter with.

Well I went to get it but it was SOLD!
I had to settle for a S&W Model M&P15T Rifle.
So far I think it was a great 2nd choice.

I think that was an awesome second choice. Would have been mine too. Very similar setup minus the fixed A2 front sight. Mind if I ask what you paid for it?

Let use know if you have problem's shooting 223's out of it. I have a buddy with the same AR and was having problems shooting that round. It works fine with 556's. This will help with the problem.

I paid $1450. What made me jump on that was that is lists for $1770.Now a days you dont see an AR selling for under the MSRP.

Buy the upper and lower seperate, thats what I did Upper ($ 650.00) Complete lower ($ 250.00 ) for a total of 900.00 but that was about 7 months ago! not sure about seperate prices now. only other bad part is no warrenty.

Paid $650 for mine three years ago. Oh, how I wish I'd bought a dozen...
The $1200 price was reasonable for the current market on the Stag, and $1450 is also in a good ballpark for the S&W –– if you can find one. I've seen a couple of used ones sell for that price and higher on local boards here in AZ the last few weeks.
