My recent CMMG experience....
Mod, if this post needs relocated, feel free.
First a disclaimer. This post is only to serve as an example of my first, only, and LAST experience with CMMG.
So at SHOT 2012 I finally catch the 300blk bug. In Jan I contact CMMG and order 2 barrels. One 16" 300blk and one 8.5" 300blk. I know the industry is loaded down right now so I'm not surprised that they tell me "end of February" for my barrels. I dish out the CC number and tell them to send them along when able.
End of Feb rolls around and they tell me "end or March" I bring up that they told me end of Feb and she puts me on hold. I get "your 8.5 is ready, we're still waiting on your 16". I say "Okay so will you guys hold my 8.5" until my 16" is ready then?" she replies "Yes." "okay then, send them both together."
Middle of March rolls around and I call in to update my CC info with a card linked to a different bank account. One that I use for gun toys, not my other joint account that my wife uses. I instruct them to use the new card for the barrels, by the way how's that going? "should be the end of April." "WTF??" "Well the hold up is your 8.5. We have your 16" ready, but we're waiting on your 8.5" At this point it's almost comical. I have a come-apart. I remind them they told me last month that they had my 8.5 in hand and were waiting on my 16. NOW, my 16 is in hand and they are waiting on my 8.5. Seriously??? I am put on hold. Upon returning, they inform me that they will ship both barrels that day. So I guess some other poor guy is going to get screwed on his 8.5" which is what I assume happened to me. Somebody called in pissed off and they gave them mine to make them happy because I was still waiting on a 16". I don't know, but I'm sorry to whoever get's the short end of that stick.
But wait there is more.....THEY CHARGE BOTH CARDS. That's right. $423.90 to both accounts. Problem is, the one account is for spending only and never carries that large of a balance in case of fraud issues. We just transfer in what we need. SO ALL Weekend, the wife and I are racking up $50 NSF fees on the account I called and told them NOT TO USE. Kid wants a happy meal? $4.21 + $50 for NSF, wife puts gas in the car? $67.00 + $50 NSF. ALL WEEKEND. SERIOUSLY! I call in this morning and they said they voided that transaction, but it takes 2 or 3 days for the refund to post. I am about to lose it. SO what if they call the credit card company and have them post it today...I'm out over $350 in fees from my bank, which by the way they will not refund. I've already made that phone call. Thanks a ton CMMG. Appreciate all you've done for me.

Sorry to hear what happened, but man, you need a new Bank....they are skinning you if they treat you like that! Not to excuse CMMG, but I would ditch that bank and never let this sort of thing happen to me again. CMMG made a mistake, sure, but that bank is the one that is robbing you, Man.
Well, it is what it is. I don't overdraw my account, so it's usually not an issue.

Call and talk to your bank. I've had that "cascaded NSF" situation before, and after explaining what happened my bank canceled all but one of the NSF charges.
Banks are all a bunch of pieces of #%#* I have not had a bank since about the early 90s.If I can do without them we all can.CROOKS
Sorry to hear of your problems.

I believe the bank part, but CMMG did get on it quickly... at least the charge issue.
I used a debit card for the first time CCR redid a slide. Double charged, and had one fee when the bank contacted me (I rarely used that card back then, and only use it for ATMs now). Later on, I had more work done, and they double charged my card again (credit card this time). They did get right on it, and was fixed before the end of my statement. Think that was it?
A few months later, they did it again. I had two guns redone, using two cards. The one that paid for my LCP and some other small stuff, which was like $190, was charged twice. Email them, they say they will handle it (was with a Capital One card, which had the slowest online banking up until recently). A month goes by, so I paid the difference, since I usually have more than that each month as a balance. They email me a receipt, saying the processing company refunded it. Email them two weeks later, either credit my account or I am going to dispute the charge. No answer, so I dispute that second charge. Get all the paperwork from Capital One, then the next week, I find out their processing company is fighting it. I received a bunch of paperwork saying that I was charged twice... NO S***! Sent them a copy of the email, and the charge disappeared.
I just sent in M&P parts for them to plate, but I'm checking that card twice a day until I see a single, correct charge.

So while I seem very rantish and like a complete ass, I am a reasonable person. So in fairness, I will update you all on the situation. CMMG got the charge removed and this evening while checking my account, it was gone. They also actually called my bank to verify it was removed...nice touch by the way. A nice CSR at the bank probably broke the rules, but after talking to me and seeing the impending cascade of impending NSF destruction held the account until CMMG got the charge removed. So end of story, CMMG got the charge removed and the bank was able to hold off the NSF's from the weekend from posting.
Now, don't get me wrong...I'm a "principle of the thing" kinda guy, so I'm still a little miffed at the legwork I had to do, but at least it's fixed. Good on ya CMMG.

Shit....

Try buying a new Yamaha Motorcycle and see how much financial FU comes back on you...
Shit Happens. CMMG is very, very fast to fix any troubles when compared to others...

There you go, CMMG worked with the bank to help you out. We had a situation like this once with our old bank. Simple error..which they chose to mail to us (over a weekend...took five days for us to know what was going on). Meanwhile wife gets dinged a few hundred bucks for NSF on her account. We had over $20,000 in other checking and savings accounts in that bank and they still nailed her like $350 in NSF charges on this little checking account she had. It was like $25 over drawn due to a screw up at her Jazzercise place. (She kept account t low to avoid it getting emptied out by some scam or someone stealing the account numbers). The same check kept getting returned and each time they wacked her for another $50. It was insane!
Bank refused to do anything about it, period. We had our home mortgage there, we had lots of money there, this bank was making a LOT of profit from us and tried to screw us over a $25 mistake. Well, withing two weeks ALL our money and loans were gone from that bank and went across the street. Screw me one time on my money and you are GONE! I will not mess around with unreasonable banks that pull this crap. You do know that most banks make their biggest profits off user fines and fees like this? Since the new credit card rules they continue top find more and more ways to stick it to us for any possible transgression we might make. I don't mess around with these thieves.
