CMMG BHOA problems.
I have the most recent version of BHOA in my CMMG M4/22 upper, and the problem I'm having with it is it's locking my bolt back with rounds still in the magazine. And since it happens 2-3 times per magazine, I ended up having to remove it all together for now. The weird thing is that I'm using it with BDM X-Form magazines w/ SS lips, that don't even work with BHOA, so I'm not sure what's going on. The only cause I can think of is that the tab that catches the bolt is bouncing up and down from recoil, but not sure how to fix that. Any ideas?
The bhoa wasn't designed to be used with the bdm mag. There is a really good chance the rim of the bullet is pushing upwards against the tip of the actuator. This will cause the malfunctions you are having.
