I see the barrels on your website but couldn't find a complete upper assembly. Any plans to make one?

Thanks

I am still amazed there are no 10.5" uppers, I would love a Mk18 Mod0 22lr trainer

It'd be more like 11.5" due to the portion inside the upper.

But I agree, I'd like something that I could use with my SBRed 10.5" 5.56 upper for a trainer/lw plinker.

you can have cmmg cut your barrel for you. this is what i did because it was already there and i didnt have to worry about sending it back out after waiting to get it.. i think it cost me about 125 for them to do it. it is a little more then adco but when you figure in shipping its a little closer in price. i had mine cut to 9" so it sticks out about a inch past my hand gaurd. i also like the idea of cmmg doing the work because if i have any problems there isnt a thrid party involved its all on them. the only thing i didnt like about them doin it is they wouldnt make a thread protector. i asked for the remaining piece of barrel which they gave me so i can look into getting one made.

Honestly, the lack of a 10.5" (in appearance)/11.5" barrel has been why I've been holding off ordering a complete upper. I already have a drop-in kit, but would like a dedicated upper.

I'll probably just spin a Smith Vortex on there for a thread protector so that doesn't bother me, and a local shop has reasonably priced YHM TPs.

I've thought about buying the kit minus the barrel and using a M1S 10.5/11.5 upper, but I'd like to keep my money with CMMG if possible.

That's because CMMG doesn't cut the barrels. They send them out to the barrel maker. Probably not set up to cut a thread protector.

Does anyone sell a decent dedicated 22lr upper that's already 10.5 or shorter that's ready to buy without any modification?

CMMG has the 6.5"

I don't see it on their site. Several companies have just the barrel I want a 10.5 or shorter complete upper with a real .22lr barrel.
