CMMG Evolution and Colt carbine

Posted this in the .22 AR section, but decided to post it here too.
CMMG Evo setup to mimic my Colt carbine. CMMG has Primary Arms M3 clone, Magpul MBUS, CAA stock saddle
and KAC RAS. Colt has Aimpoint M2, KAC micro rear sight, Vltor Modstock and KAC RAS. Just got the CMMG yesterday
and was able to run several mags through it. After a mag or two, it ran like a raped ape. Love this carbine! Always wanted
a .22LR AR. Money well spent.

Thanks Dave!! I had the KAC RAS, the M3 clone and the stock saddle in my parts bin and figured I'd use
them on something eventually. Then decided to go with a .22 setup to mimic my old Colt. I'm not that
fond of the stock saddle, but it does make the M4 stock more like the Vltor on my Colt. What I wanted
was something very similar to my Colt to practice with. I think it turned out very cool. Man I love this thing!

I run a couple stock saddles myself.

I actually used the stock saddle on the Colt for quite a while. Some guys don't like them,
but it really worked pretty well for me. Can't be beat for the money.

Hey, I like those stock saddles!
Nice looking rifle, have something very similar myself. My .22 AR gets more range time than any other rifle I have. As you have found out, they run great and they save us a bundle! Everyone should have one. They are just the perfect solution for keeping us within our shooting budget. Glad you like it.

My CMMG dedicated upper is my new favorite. Definitely gets more love than anything else in the safe. I love the KAC RAS on yours, now I need to get one for mine. My son loves it too, so before long I'll have to get one for him too.
