I have a BCM 14.5" with an AAC brakeout already mounted. I'm trying to run it on a non-SBR lower.
1.) Everything I've read says its over 16", is that true?
2.) Can you guys pin this?
3.) If you guys pin it, will the suppressor still be able to mount to it?
Thanks
(And I know that I need to select the AAC Suppressor mount option from your website)
Yes, the Brakeout makes it over 16" OAL.
Yes, we can pin it.
Yes, it will still be functional as a mount.

Expect it after Christmas!
Thanks!

Don't send it to Grey Goose in Port St. Lucie. ADCO is the way to go!
I had ADCO do this exact same thing with a standard AAC blackout. It works great and looks great. Buy with confidence.

Other than the relative permanence of doing this, is there any compelling reason not to? I'm getting ready to do the same thing (14.5" w/ an AAC mount) and since the thread was already here, I figured I'd join in.
Thanks.

Most people do not like perming suppressor mounts, and I say most loosely based on my experiences. I'm not sure why, I guess they follow the mindset that if you are getting an NFA suppressor you might as well make the rifle an NFA SBR as well.
I did that, but after a few months of having a 14.5" SBR it doesnt make sense to keep it this way. ADCO can always remove the perm'd muzzle device if I have to remove it for some reason, and now I'll be able to free up an SBR lower.

As much as I prefer to support local guys, I will only send my ARs to ADCO. Last time, I sent them a barrel to be cut and threaded and a pile of parts on a Monday and I had the assembled upper back the following Tuesday. Just as fast, cheaper, and faster.
I just had them do this for me on an LMT M4 upper with an AAC QD mount. Came back great and works like a champ! Yea, I have two 14.5" uppers with AAC mounts pinned and welded. Saves the tax stamp and it also makes sure that mount WILL NOT screw off with the can!
