Ops Inc suppresors
What's the difference between the various models?
Their website isn't too helpful.
I'm sure somebody will come along in a second and give a better rundown then this but....
The 12th model uses a different collar than the rest, although you can get an adapter so that non 12th model will go on the 12th model collar brake combos. It gives the best suppression out of the lineup, or is tied with the 16th.
16th, 15th, 14th and M4-M and M4-S all use the same mounting collar and brake specs. so you can switch between them with no adapters or anything.
The 16th has a baffle stack the same size as the 12th model but doesn't come back over the barrel as much, it seems like most people say you can't hear any difference between them and the 12th model.
The 15th and 14th models are each just shorter and have less weight as well as less suppression
. The M4-S is just meant to be a specialty use item, for when you don't want the weight or length of a full suppressor, and don't need full sound suppression but just something to take the edge off. My understanding is that the M4-M is basically meant to be a M4-S that is closer to hearing safe.
Hope that helps a little bit.
ADCO did a comparison of the lineup prior to the M4-S, where they just had the DBL difference between the suppressors, IIRC the difference between the 14th and the 16th/12th was pretty big. But the difference between the 16th and 12th wasn't that much
