Question re: upcoming order, shop services, and barrel length

Based on the work you did on my 14.5" BCM upper, I will be sending in a 16" barrel to have cut down/rethreaded and have a couple of questions before I do so. I saw that the cut/rethread service also includes opening up the gas port if needed, which is a good thing. I would also like to send the gas block (Vltor GB-2C) and a standard A2 flashhider to have you install them (and time the FH - won't be permed). What kind of additional charges am I looking at, and what services do I need to select on the work order? I will also include the barrel nut so it is in place when you do that work for me. Also, as far as the length I want it cut to - I am hoping you can lend a hand with that. I have a 12" rail, and basically when all is said and done I want only the flash hider to be visible from beneath the rail - and not necessarily the entire FH - i.e. won't bother me if wrench flats are not exposed. To further complicate matters I will eventially replace the FH with a suppressor mount of some sort - but figure the A2 is prob one of the shortest muzzle devices out there. Based on that assumption and my SWAG measuring of various parts, I am thinking that the barrel needs to lose in the neigborhood of ~4"- 4.25" - any more than that and it seems to me that I run the risk of muzzle blast under the rail from the FH (and is this really an issue to worry about?). What say the experts?

Installing the FH + muzzle device is no charge. As for the length if you want us to get it perfect send the upper + rail. Or just get your best numbers and mark on the barrel where you want it cut. Keeping in mind .625 of threads. I wouldnt want my muzzle device under the rail, but it also wont hurt anything.
