Actually, that's not exactly correct.
The STR is a CTR with the ACS storage tubes on it. The ACS-
L does not have the storage tubes on it but does have side extensions to give a wider area for cheekweld. It's slighter thinner (width-wise) compared to the STR and CTR.
Magpul has all the specs on their site.

What you are talking about is an STR with ACS-L side panels.

Magpul already makes that stock.....it's called a CTR....mmkay?

This is possible?? Does magpul sell the side panels by themselves/ is it user swappable?
From what I can tell from pics is they took the CTR and ACS, cut the tops off each one, then swapped them. ACSL has a little bit of cheek piece though so not a total 1 for 1, but close.

Not quite. Last I checked a CTR doesn't fully collapse on an A5 RE. Plus, my CTR is a little thinner than my ACS-L.
