+1
Since I am a mere mortal, I will never be able to own an original Magpul A,B or C lower. This is the closest thing to it that I can manage, plus I love all my Smith & Wessons!

Interesting. Looks pretty nice!
Hmmmmm.....
Nice - but not a MPL
MSRP $1259

Not everyone can be all fancy like you.

Seems steep for an AR, but it does come with Art of Tac Carbine 1 and 2 DVDs. I wonder if they will offer stripped lowers in this flavor...

Why is it more money than one from LaRue?
DCMoney, They're just showing how the trigger guard is different from a standard lower.

I dunno either. I ordered mine beginning of November and was surprised that the serial number was in the 120's. Fingers crossed it will only be another 6 months before I get my grubbly little hands on it and take it home!
cool

Ambi controls.
The Arfcom lower IS the MagPul lower...
Arfcom buys rights to MagPul lower
Pass
There were three variants of the prototype Magpul lowers, but the S&W/Magpul lowers are not the ambi design. However, they are superior in construction to anything we ever made and are the only integral trigger guard lowers on the market (that I'm aware of) that are made from a forging and not a billet. This most likely makes them the strongest AR lowers available anywhere- 'billet' features and reinforcements with the strength advantages of a forging.

So are the new Noveske gen II lowers. Both are beautiful.

Can the BAD lever be used with the MP/S&W receiver?

So did ar-15.com buy the rights to one design and s&w the other? Or is the difference one being forged and the other billet?
What's the difference?
Ive looked everywhere does anyone have a pic of the other side of the lower with the S&W logo??
It would be cool if they would sell just the lower.

Because it's not a Magpul lower, it's an AR15.COM lower..
I've been tempted to buy one, not sure if I ever will though.. It's too many clams for me. I like the design, but don't care for the rollmarks..
Any release date on these rifle to dealers yet?
