At the Larue Range Day they did say stuff was coming out for a new platform, maybe two new ones, I forget. I figured it would be shotgun and not AK. Fore end looks sweet, like the guy who made one a while back, buttstock doesnt look too good, but thats just looking at it, I would think it would feel much better or they wouldnt make it. 1100 furniture perchance?? I posted in the shotgun forum that no shit I had a dream last night about a magazine ad with more Magpul stuff. This is weird.

In all seriousness, I am sure the stock and forend are going to be top notch and very functional. I have been looking for a good stock to replace my current Speedfeed IV because it is too long. The stock looks a little funky but it could just be the bad picture. Can't wait to see it from different angles and see one in a video.

I know there is only one chance to make a first impression, but try not to judge it off just one picture.

I think the Magpul booth has become a first destination for a lot of people.

Oh I am not judging it, I haven't played with one to judge it so it wouldn't be fair to the stock. And my first impression was I can't wait to put that bad boy on my 870.

So, it's confirmed MagPul is getting into the shotgun market...

I have now put off my plans to restock my Rem 1100. . . magpul gets a little extra time but I wont wait forever!

Is it a stock, or a complete Magpul Shotgun?

I have an 870 I have been holding onto for a project... glad I waited.

Really hoping the stock is adjustable somehow.

It is our goal to only release information when products are far enough along in development to warrant it. The timing just happened to work out to put the shotgun accessories around SHOT.

Regarding timing, that ad is a bit of a teaser, and we'll have some more info up shortly. However, do not expect too many details until the show...

Looking forward to a new pump grip for my Moss 500 and a set of furniture for Remington 1100!

So it looks like everyone hoping for Mossberg and/or 1100 accessories is out of luck.

The stock's grip going to accept MIAD/MOE cores for batteries, etc?

Really want some better pics. The grip looks really blocky for some reason.

As long as the current line of MOE rails and stuff work with that forend, I think it'll be gold. Looks like I may be looking for a 12 ga 870 again... (I've only got a Mossy and a 20ga 870, and the 20 is way too cute to mess with.)

Seconded... at the very least I hope they don't leave the bottom of the grip open so it looks like a piece is missing (like the new MOE-K grip and the MVG/RVG)

I love the stock, and will be getting one for my 870.
The forend on the other hand looks like it would get hard to run with sweaty hands, maybe could use some texturing.
