14.5" Carbine

I just received the 14.5" carbine upper I am building for a friend. This is the 6th Delton upper I have been involved with and I am still impressed with there quality. I showed it to my friend tonight and he can't believe how nice it looks compared to his other rifle that he paid a lot more for. I think I am as anxious as he is to shoot it but I have to get the flash suppressor pinned and welded first.
Then maybe I can start working on my next one.

We shot it yesterday and it is amazing how much difference 1.5" off the barrel makes in the balance and handling. I think I need to build one of these for myself.

I have a 14.5" they built for me about 2 years ago, its now the gun I carry on duty with my police department, love it! I've had a couple shoot it and compared to their issued rifles its a world of difference!

i am head out to the range tomorrow to shoot mine for the second time. First time was only at 25 yards to make sure i didnt mess up the build. now to the big range. 100 rounds no issues.
