Shipping ETA

I placed an order last night for a mid length kit, what are shipping estimates these days? I remember after the election wait time were 4-6 months.

We're doing much better than that now! We've caught up, for the most part!
As long as everything is in stock, we're shipping within a few days now. If something isn't in stock we'll send you an email and let you know.

The long wait is what stopped me from ordering online before. I too just ordered a kit and am happy to hear about the quicker shipping.

Just got my lightweight middy one week after ordering.

i got mine in 6 days

i ordered a stock everything middy and got it in 4 days.

Okay Laura, if you are reading, how long does it take to get the kit ready to ship?

I checked my order. says it should arrive my Wednesday, Dec. 1. Sounds like a good day to take off work.

Kit arrived last night, however a takedown pin is missing in my LPK

Mine arrived on the 30th. Everything in the kit. You need to call them if something is missing. I'm sure they'll take care of you.

They absolutly will! Some of the best customer service in the industry... I was quick to jump the gun once when I was missing a part, fired off an email, then noticed 5 mins later that another part was missing... ended up sending 3 seperate emails, cause I'm a dork, and they had the missing parts to me super fast! no questions asked.. That is the reason they are the only place I will order kits from... I think I am up to 9 once this last order gets in... I have a problem... wonder if there is a group called AAAR...lol

What kind of rifle did you order? Mine was the M-4 with some add ons.

there are two different issues here.

i ordered mine in july. it took 4 days

you guys talking about the black friday sale, are going to have to understand that Del Ton is swamped now and you may have to wait if you have a custom order. it wont be too long, but certainly not 4 days.

Wasn't expecting it anytime soon.

I ordered on 11-26 and am hoping to get my parts in time to build my dad his Christmas present. He turned 80 on Dec 7 and wanted a .204. I didnt think I could get it by his birthday on the 7th from the 26th but I really hope I can get it all done in a month. My last kit from Del Ton was this summer too and it took about a week from order to the door.

Just called them to order more parts and they said they don't have any barrels for the kit I ordered on the 26th, so it'll probably be a while :( :( Hopefully it'll be here before the new year.

Ordered a mid-length early before dawn on Black Friday..... got an e-mail the following Monday saying the magpul hanguards were backordered.... called yesterday thinking I'd change the handguards to standard and now the barrel is also backordered.... no ETA

I'm taking mine to the range today, got it on thursday.


i put it on a lower i already had built, till i can get one localy.

I'm not rubbing it in or anything, but today's range session with my wifes Christmas 2010 gift went very well. I just had to shoot a few hundred rounds through it before giving it to her. It was flawless and looks beautiful. I cant wait till she opens it up on Christmas morning.

Now you get to clean it which is ok too.

Well I think I am about to place an order for a mid length myself... Hope it gets here before Christmas.
ETA: Order placed! 16" Middy 1/7 chrome lined and M4 feed ramps. Now the hardest part, the wait!

I hope Del Ton is caught up on their Black Friday orders. I just ordered a kit to build for a friend.

I ordered mine 11/26 and it's still "processing."

Damn! I ordered mine on 12/12 and still says "processing" guess I'm in for a wait. Hope you get yours soon!

just got an update on my order via email. The 1x7 mid CL barrel is in the process of being chromed, phospated and ported. Might be a few weeks. Won't arrive before Christmas

Yep I just heard the same thing. She said it may ship out just after Christmas.

Ok, I've been a little slack about letting y'all know what is going on. Soooooo, we are in the process of sending mid-length molys to the shop. The middys 1x7, 1x9 chrome-lined are at the chromers'. We are getting H-bars in very soon. The LWs are out at chroming and some at phosphate. They are running dissipators now, then I think more 20".

We are currently entering in orders from 12/2. We are putting as much as we can in the shop for building. I think that November builds are pretty close to being shipped, if we can build them to ship them. We aren't guaranteeing anything before Christmas at this point, but I promise you we are working hard to get the parts in, built, and shipped.

i bought 3 extra lowers today just in case Del-ton has another big sale.

Picked up my lower today and found out that my kit is in Backorder barrel Limbo.

I ordered an "in stock" Beta C drum in 9mm on 12/01 and it's still marked as "processing".

Lets say I order just a regular 16" upper with nothing extra, any guesses on how long that will take to ship?

Yeah, I feel ya. I placed my order for a whole rifle kit back on the 12th...coming up on two weeks and I'm going stir crazy, lol. I already have a bunch of Magpul stuff, mags, and ammo for it. I even loaded some of the mags I expect mine should ship just after Christmas.....or so I hope!

Just so we know when to start expecting stuff, when does Del-Ton's team get back in the shop?

I'll bet you a C Pro mag they wont be in the shop today.

We are suppose to be back tomorrow, but we got 6-8" of snow. Not many can drive in this condition in these parts. Not to mention I'm sure our parking lot is a scary disaster. I'm sure some of us will try to make it in tomorrow, but if you call and there is no answer, that is why. I HATE SNOW!!

Heck yeah she liked it. She loves it. She wanted to go to the range Christmas day!!! It was around 15 - 20 that day and we didnt make it. This weekends lookin good.

How far East did it snow? How about over by Wilmington?
