Del-Ton Military Discount?
I searched, but I have a basic account so nothing came up. Does Del-Ton offer a military discount? I'm about to order a custom upper from them, but I'm always interested in saving a few bucks. Anyone got any answers?
Much appreciated gents.
Why not call and ask them?
We do offer the military discount, but we would need a copy of your ID. You must actually be in the military, just not a civilian with a gov't job. You can either fax it to 910-645-2244 or email it to sales@del-ton.com
Thanks,
Laura

I'll press my luck here. Does the military discount INCLUDE U.S. military retired, like Bud's Gun Shop and some others do, or just current active duty? I have no problem sending over a photostat of my retired military id card if you do include those of us who went to Vietnam and then were too stupid to get out for 20 years or so (LOL).

Your not supposed to make a copy of any military ID.Military members know this. You should ask military personel who are wanting a discount to send you an email from their military email account.
How about veterans?

Yep, retired and veterans are a-ok with us! You did your time, we'll honor that too!

According to the order I placed last night. YES! Thumbs up Del Ton!
Del-Ton is GTG in my book. Never ordered from them before until a few weeks ago. My initial order was mailed First Class through USPS. Turns out the lady that ships the mail only sent it out in batches every few days. It took 10 days for my order to arrive. In the meantime I'm panicked because the parts were for a fellow deputies rifle that he needed for training ASAP. A very nice lady at Del-Ton identified the problem, fixed the shipping situation, and overnighted me the parts I was awaiting. Again, class company and outstanding customer service.

Veterans will not have an ID card. Will a Veterans Administration card with photo work? shows service connected disability.
FYI, Copying a military ID is illegal.

I'm about to place an order on a kit and would like to know how I could get a military discount without breaking the law. I know somebody asked above, but would an email from an official military account be enough? If not, what are the other options? Thanks!
