while i realize this tis not a new method for taking hog's, it does work.. have used this method on WMA land & have had luck... Topo USA & GPS ta find the higher ground... my apollagies had trouble with conection tis why it up twice
When I was stationed in Georgia, me and a buddy would use my jon boat to troll up a creek off the chattahoochie to listen for hogs. It was a nice and quiet way to get in close an then stalk them. It worked pretty well for us. We took several hogs that way.

most of the WMA's are more primative hunting for hog's, while on most ya can use any legal meens during the general hog season, theirs not too many that ya can use ATV's.. ya can eather set up on a trail an wait, or can put some miles on looking in the thicker stuff, downed tree's, switch cain, palmedos, thick briers, farther back inta the woods... if thar been alot of preasure, boat can get ya ta were most won't walk too... twas u at Ft Benning?

Yep, from 2007 til last year. I hated PCSing away from there, was the best hunting I've done in a while.
