tonights boar

We got back from town at 9:40 tonight and we had 3 hogs in the front yard. I have one of my green lights set up and I guess they couldnt see us pull up. I had my glock 30sf 45 acp in the car with me and i was going to try and slip up close and pop one, but once i got out of the car and they didnt spook I went for the house and got the 6.8 out. I got back to the front door and the wife and boys were still in the car watching the hogs. I walked back to the trunk of the car and got a rest off of it. I picked the best looking one and aimed for the sweet spot right in front of the shoulder and fired. Bang Flop DRT. I let the other 2 go for a later day. I was using the SSA 85 gr tsx tac load and the hog was about 60 yards away. The bullet entered just in front of the shoulder and exited just behind the off shoulder. Nice hole lots of blood. Looks like I broke his neck and got the heart. Lot of blood.

Looks like a nice eating hog.

Those damn things will destroy a nice yard in no time.

They were very brave and doing a root-by for intimidation, or stupid and forgot who's door they were knocking on. ( their worst knightmare )

Good way to get the young one indoctrinated into hog hunting!

Get him set up for when the other two show back up in your yard

That's what I'm talking about, That's great. Good times with the boy!!!!!

I say I love 'em hogs and waiting to get to hunt them in parking lots and such.
