I got to go with the Dehog in 2011 and was fortunate enough to do it again this year. Last year was hard, but my experience from then really helped me psychologically with this years hunt. I took Dehoganator's advice from last year and put a lot of money into making my Grendel a better rifle. I freefloated the barrel, added a Gieselle trigger, new grip, sling, and Trijicon Accupoint scope. I changed my loads and went with 120gr Nosler Ballistic Tips. With his advice, I felt much more comfortable with my rifle and you can see the results for yourself.
I wasn't the only one who made a lot of changes this year. Dehog only had Gen 1 and 2 night vision last year, but to tell you the truth, I couldn't really make anything out with them. I pretty much followed him when he spot and stalked hogs. I got to our meeting place and he shows me two Gen 3 night vision devices and one thermal that my buddy and I could use. I wasn't really excited until after our first night. HOLY COW, Generation 3 is like looking through green daylight. The THERMAL was a life saver! you truly need both devices for hogs. My buddy ended up getting the thermal, I got one of the NV and he spotted hogs from far away and I closed in on them.
I only went to one ranch last year and did maybe 5 ambushes? I ended up only doing two ambush on the same property this year, BUT he got us two more ambushes on a river bottom type property and the best of them all was in Murchison, where we got to shoot pigs off the porch of some guys house! I'd never in my life imagine I would be dressed in full camo, sitting on a lawn chair in the middle of a cold night waiting for pigs! And they did come? Heck yea! They surrounded us! They got maybe 20 yards from us. Dehog shot 3 of them with his Eotech and night vision. I got one with my 308 SCAR and my buddy shot one with his AR308. We found two of the wounded hogs with his thermal. We would not have found then without it. That thermal is king. I wish I could have that recorded. The owner came out and Dehog showed his the pigs we shot and the man wrote him a check on the spot. This was probably the best part of the trip. Da man has “Hogdar,” he knows where the hogs are at and what time they come.
I shot another hog on the river bottom with my 6.5 Grendel at about 75 yards. I estimated it probably weighed 190 lbs or so, but thats just a guesstimate. You can see his big left cutters in the photo where he laid dead. His right cutters must have broke off in a fight or something. I got to give my accupoint credit for that shot.
Heres the piglet I shot on the first ambush while sitting at a feeder. hahahahaha. Dehog said he didn't know how I shot this baby one on the run.
My buddy with a downed hog in Murchison

You'd have to PM him. I am not sure what his rates for other people are. We took big red to most places and walked in to the feeders. He added an extra exhaust to it to make it quiet. I couldn't hear it until it was maybe 50-100 yds away? We took Big Red 1/2 way through the "swamp" and walked the rest of the way in. I suggest taking a good paid of waterproof boots with ya. It was pretty muddy in some places.
I had a blast. Like I said the best part was Murchison where we were shooting pigs on some guys front lawn. hahahaha. That must have been a sight!
Thanks for posting, we're you satisfied with the Nosler 120 grain BT out of the 6.5 Grendel.

Very satisfied. The round hit the lungs and blew em out. Dehog says its like a varmit bullet. Just blows up like a grenade inside.
Went out with dehog last night. We saw hogs in the neighbors pasture rootin it up, but they never made it our way. If they did it would have been lights out with the weapon mounted pvs-14s and eotechs. Bottom line is that dehog will put you on pigs. Nice shootin on the little guy.

Heres my kill all cooked up
