How much do "ranch" hunts cost?

Where can you hunt for free? Do some states allow hunting them on public land without restriction? Permits needed for out of state hunters?

What are typical weights and fees for "trophy" vs smaller hogs?

What are typical additional fees for dressing, etc?

Thanks

ETA: Saw this on Wikipedia... "In Missouri, no hunting permit is required for the taking of wild boar; hunters may take as many as they like with any weapon. The Missouri Department of Conservation requests that hunters who encounter feral hogs shoot them on sight."

Wow, kind of a loaded up question; I'll try to help.
Most states want a license. Tx has a basic game license, it's like $45 for 5 days. Great deal. Hogs, yotes, varmints and vermin are GTG. I believe birds (doves, and non native birds are GTG) Game animals (Deer, turkey, ducks) are NOT included. The regular license runs about $400 non resident. OK, hunts: If you have a friend who lives in Tx. and is around ranches, you might get some access for free. Tx.Ga, Fla, La, Al have some programs also where the game dept is working to put hunters in contact with ranchers with hog problems. It's up to you to find out how to work that system.
For paid hunts, the sky is the limit. Here in Ca, it can be done on quads, or with dogs, or hiking with a guide, or even self guided. Some ranches have a trophy fee, some do not. This applies everywhere. In Ca, you will likely shoot further than in say Tx. where there is more brush. If you like reaching out, then it might be what you are looking for.
I like my Texas hog hunting...... Again, what kind of hunt do you want? Walk a big property, and stalk them? Wait around a feeder, and pick them off? Hunt from a blind, day or night? Expect in Tx to pay between $100 and 400 a day, depending on the operation, size of pigs, bag limit, etc. I hunt a ranch for $150 a day, no limit on the number, no trophy fee. Most pigs taken are about 90lb, with a few real good ones and some great little eater 40lb piglings thrown in for good measure. In Ca, it's almost always over $300, and one pig per day allowed, a second hog will cost you an extra 150-250.
I won't hunt a ranch who charges a trophy fee. Seen way too much BS thrown around; broken tusk on one side, but the other is 4" and they want an extra $150 for a trophy fee. Nasty smelling big boar with no tusks left and they want to charge you $300 extra because this furry rototiller weighs in near 400lb. That's $400 extra for a hog that you are gonna render into sausage because he is too musky and tough to do anything else with.......

I like a simple, kill a pig or 2 and have a big ass BBQ.

Where can you hunt for free? Some places will offer you a pacakge deal, bring so many friends and you hunt for free. Do some states allow hunting them on public land without restriction? Permits needed for out of state hunters? check the local regs

So I can just show up with my rifle? Is this private land?

My dad is around the Tampa area, and this would be a fun weekend for my brother and I.
