I don't know the extent of enjury, or combat related but its physcal.

I didn't want to go into it , told him we would get after them anyway possible.

Don't know what I'm in far..This is the second day he spent driving in from outta state.

I ask Fritzcat to help out tommorrow night, I hope he has a good time. This hunt is so far most important..just kinda worried.

thanks to all who served.

Not very sporting of you to hunt a wounded man, wouldn't it be more of a challenge to hunt one that was in full capacity?

J/K Have fun and thank him for us!

Treat the man like a Man and I think all will be fine. Oh and kill something. After 2 days in the car I'm sure he is ready to kill something, or atleast blow something up if all else fails.

I've helped Wounded Warriors get ready for deer hunts here in VA, taught them to use muzzle loaders. All 6 of them that came out could physically handle it just fine. (ie arms and legs were there, ect...)

I've also coached WW air rifle and air pistol shooters that went to WW games at the Olympic Training Center. Had one that was missing his entire right arm and another that had major damage to his left hand/arm but is was still partly usable.

Anyhow just saying that their disabilities vary greatly, some of them you wouldn't even think they were disabled at first glance. Some are recovering or mostly recovered and will go back to full duty when ready.

All of them I have dealt with were enthusiastic and very thankful for the support they were receiving.

Guess what I'm saying is if they are cleared from the hospital to go out on a hunt they will be capable of shooting a gun, even if you have to make some allowance for how it is held, ie rested on something. You shouldn't need any major modifications, and I think both of you will have a great time.

Thanks for taking a wounded warrior out on a hunt.

Mark went with Dehog to a couple of places and got into hogs once and did not get-find the hog. Saturday I met Mark and took him to a place on Kickapoo creek bottom. About 8:30 Mark spotted a Boar coming to us. With just the full moon light,Mark lined him up in the EOTECH and made him DRT. The night was very quiet and not even one yepping of coyotes. About 12:00 it was cold and desided to go swap the jeep for the ole Dodge and hed back to camp. We went by my Urban Hog field that has a small part in the city limits ( that I don't hunt) and under one of the Oak trees was about 12 hogs, 1 big sow had a large group of little piggies all around her. The night air was cold and had thick fog. Mark put 2 shots into the group, but we did not find any hogs. Mark was happy to get into some of these Texas hogs and we had a good time shooting the BULL!!!!!
