Boar charged me this morning......

I guess he was mad that I ran over him with the cotton seed truck. Well, I didnt have a gun and he was trapped between a fence and a bluff. I rolled him and my lab and I gave chase on foot. I called for back up as he stood there with blood running out his mouth/nose. When pops showed up with a gun I turned around to yell our location. When I turned back he was about 10 foot away and moving fast. I jumped sideways behind a tiny tree as Scooter the wonder dog attacked and ran him off aways. That will get your blood pumping in the morning!

Glad you didn't get hurt. It ain't a giant one but he could still lay you open pretty good if he got the chance. Never turn your back on an animal because they know and that's when they'll get you. A buddy used to have a turkey that would try to attack people but only from behind, it would act normal if you were facing it.

Ain't that the truth, my grandmother had a tom turkey that would whip your ass if you turned your back. I only made that mistake once. He hit me at a full run with both feet right in the middle of my back and put me on my face.
Once I was down, it was on, he stomped the crap out of me.

Shoot, that turkey would have made that mistake once. That night we would have had smoked turkey, then turkey legs, turkey sandwiches, etc.

I put a 50 lber in a pen last month. My cur dog would dig under and start baying him, so I would have to go in and get the dog. Damn hog would charge me and I would kick him in the face or side step and slap him across the face with the dog leash.
Last week, he pissed me off and I murdered him with my Uberti 45LC. No more charging.
