(Texas) Hunting Licence or Hunter Ed. Course?
Haven't been hunting in awhile. Never been hog hunting. Do I need a hunting Licence or hunter education course to hunt hogs?
Maybe a stupid question since I know that I won't have to tag hogs but just want to abide by the law.

Per Texas law, landowners and their agents are allowed to hunt depredating hogs without a license.
If you fit that definition then you don't need a license. If you don't or you're not sure then you probably need a license and hunter safety. You can now get a hunter safety deferral for one year for $10, I think. Every time you hunt you'll need to be with a licensed hunter though.
If you want to keep the meat you need a license! Depending on dob you may or may not have to take hunter ed. Gooogle tpwd for more info
