The first pheasent opener...

with out one of my best friends. He was killed while towing a truck on the side of the interstate. His wife made me promise that I would keep his dog on birds and I have so far. It's been hard because he isn't use to hunting with me but were starting to mesh now. I need to get some pictures in the dog thread. His last wish was to be loaded into shotgun shells and be taken out and hunt. Here are a few of the pictures from the birds taken with those shells.

We stopped at the mile marker to leave some feathers and a shell. I'm sure missing him.
