Got 2 Jakes outta the same flock in 2 shots on day 2 of our season here. My first Turkey ever! Needless to say I am pretty pumped for next season!
My mentor shot his with a bow at 18 yards.
I opted to use a shotgun. no sense in making it harder than I need to for my first bird.

Great looking kills. I've never been patient enough or had enough confidence to try to shoot a turkey with a bow.

I hear you Rex, my buddy has been trying to get one with a recurve for 3 years.
