OK....It's obviously from my trail cam up in Bradford Co., Pennsylvania. Cute little guy isn't he?



This is typical of a PA coyote. The bait is a dead calf we got rid of for a neighbor dairyman.

I take it baiting them is legal in your state?

We cant do that here so you acutally have to work at getting them close like that.

Wash clothes in scent free detergent and use the spray after getting out the truck, and setup with good wind direction, its always windy here. Closest we have had one was about 5 yards in front of me which was shot by my buddy with his shotgun and he was about 10 away from the yote.

no matter your method a good coyote is a dead coyote.

Yeah we can't bait here, either, but calling them that close isn't too uncommon when you hunt thick brush. Most of my kills are inside 50 yards, and most of those are inside 50 feet. Closest kill to date is 7 feet on a coyote.

Yep; and a BIG one it looks like. That would make a bitchin' coat to wear at a PETA rally!!!!!!!
