First day of Dove Season: can I call in a varmint or has all the shooting scared them off?

Sounded like WWII here with shotgun shooting in every direction. Would love to call a predator tonight - do youthink they will just lay low? A perfect Rizzo question ....

My experience has been that dove season brings lots of crippled birds, gut piles, and coyotes taking advantage of both.
