Me and a few buddies want to go on a deer hunt. It doesn't have to be just deer, we'd like to take an exotic too or rams etc. Just curious if anyone has a good place to buy a 3 or 4 day hunt? Thanks guy.

evidently, he thinks you should hunt public lands for the cost of your license and tag.

Well I'm looking for like a 3 day guided hunt with lodging and meals. And to my knowledge rams and exotics are not on public land?

I've been doing some research the last few days and I'm seriously considering buying some land in South or West Texas. I've seen listing ALL OVER the state from 100-400 acres from as low as $50k to $200k. Some of it is pretty damn rugged and way out in Brewster or Hudspeth counties but I've seen some awesome listings in Edwards and Sutton counties. Lots of cover and plenty of game.

Cross Outfitters

I know this family personally and they are great people! They have two places, one is high fence and one is low fence. They have whitetail, blackbuck, axis and one type of sheep/ram on the high fence place. Their guides are also top notch guys and a blast to hang out with. Look around at prices and You will see that they are more than fair, not to mention His wife does a lot of the cooking and I gain lots of weight just hanging out over there.

Look over their site but, give Jason a ring, He will give You the low down on what Ya' need to know.

Good luck with Your hunt either way!

This. I used to be the ranch manager and guide there. The people that hunt there go back, like a 95% return rate.
