Stepson's first deer.

This is my stepson's first deer. It was the second time he has been hunting. It was a spike that had half of one of his antlers broken off. Still a trophy to him. He and I were both happy. Shot with a Rossi single shot 223 with 65 grn. sierra gameking reloads.

Congrats! Looks like you found a hunting buddy for life. I, for one, know how important and sometimes difficult that stepson/stepfather relationship can be.
