This one started out as a 4'x4'x8' two person blind. Then I added the second story a few years later. I wrap camo fabric around the structure upstairs to obscure my lower body. It works well as I've had deer walk so close I could have easily spit on them.

I don't have a picture of the stand, but heres some crappy cell phone pictures taken out of a few of my Climbing Stands.

Some gators along the bank of the Big Black River.

Another spot along the Big Black River.

Definately was a labor of love, and hate
big project out in the woods of WV.
Had a great time with help from my Father, and My young son.
8x8, floor height is 14 feet., 7 windows.
The material used in the frame work I got for free from work.
Trust me, the deer could care less that it's not painted.

someone thought they were too nice so they busted the windows out and ripped the doors out.

I build them. The wife paints them. They look pretty funny but I always get new ones set upway before the season so the deer get used to them.
They actually don't look to gaudy when they are set up. She's killed a truck load of deer out of them, so if thats what she wants that what she gets.

My favorite place... The far treeline is 315 yds. Everything in between must have my permission to pass through ;)

That's a beautiful hunting spot. Makes me wish winter would hurry up and get here.

It really is. Sometimes I completely ignore wind direction and deer sign just so I can sit there and watch the sun rise over the trees.

I would too. I'd certainly ignore the wind direction at those distances. I've got a 7' tripod stand that I use up in Oklahoma and I've got video of two does walking underneath my stand while I'm sitting in it filming them. If I can find the disk it's on I'll download and post it.

And what a cold morning that was.

Since I hunt out of a climbing stand, I don't have any "deer condo" pics. Here's a cell phone photo that I just happened to snap last season mere minutes before I shot my largest buck ever:

Here's my wife in her stand braving the cold and rain on opening morning of firearms season a few years ago:

I don't have any pics of my stands. I mostly hunt out of cheepo lock-ons. The cheaper they are the more you can hang. Heres one of me in a tree though.

Nothing fancy like some of you guys, but here is one of our more productive ladder stands:

Close-up:

Farther back:

Another:

Typical North Missouri second-growth woods––very full of deer. That stand is located in a large funny and provides steady shooting opportunities. We have a ground blind located 30 or so yards away to be used when it's raining. I'll go get a pic of that.

Edit for ground blind, which is located over your right shoulder when sitting in the above stand:

Here is a zoom of the same shot:

That's pretty much the same setup I have for my ladder stand. I doubled up the cammo burlap though which does a decent job of keeping the wind off my legs when it's cold out.

That is not hunting. It can't be cause the are not mosquitoes, or bad weather, or uncomfortable tree stands. Hell when I was younger I had apartments that were not that nice.

My ground blind is dead center of the photo.
