Primos TRUTH Cam Blackout and other black flash cameras?

Does anybody know if the Primos TRUTH Cam Blackout is a good camera? It is model 63035 and I'm seeing it on sale several places. I need a camera for security purposes that is night-capable and with no visible flash and silent. So regular IR is not suitable. I need the "black" flash. I'd also appreciate any suggestions regarding other black flash cameras that are reliable, and smaller so that they are easy to conceal. Thanks.

i just bought one, no joke about 30 minutes ago. I am going to install it in the woods where i hunt next week and won't be back to check on it for a week or two after. So whenever i get my results ill let you know what i think of it.,

Thanks, appreciate anything you learn about the 63035. I think I will be buying something today regardless, as brain-dead guy across the street has decided on a harassment campaign after I wound up calling the police because he wouldn't stop blasting gigantic fireworks into my driveway endangering my vehicles. Now I have to carry a pistol all the time because I don't know what he's liable to do; all because of fireworks which I politely asked him to direct elsewhere 2x before resorting to the police. For reference, I like fireworks and have blasted my share, but in safe areas.

Alright buddy, Tuesday afternoonish I went out to my set of trees, set up the cam and left it for around 24 hours, went back to check it and found I had 31 pics.. and about 4 of them are either of me or nothing. So i switched out the cards and won't be back to check it for at least 2 weeks to a month.
I'm guessing you want to see the pictures so here you go. http://s869.photobucket.com/albums/ab259/stesch_s10/Trail%20Camera/

I believe this camera has a one second reaction time. 60 or 32 led setting for the night time. With all the testing i did with it, it never ever made a clunk noise, or a picture sound and since its the blackout series it doesn't produce a flash.

I set mine up to take 7mp pictures, with a 10 second delay in between movement, 1 picture each (can have 3 or 5 shot bursts). all 60 leds for night shots, and normal settings. (you can have high setting so every single weed in the picture that moves would set it off, or low setting that would take a damn deer to come up and lick it to make it take a picture.)

It also takes if I remember right, 5, 10 and 15 second clips of video????

Anyway here are some sample pics. The rest are in the link.

Thanks. I did wind up buying one, but have only tried it on my dogs in the backyard; need to figure out how to hide it in my yard to catch my neighbor. There's no noise and no flash. I wound up using high sensitivity and 3 shot burst with 2 mega resolution. I think 2 megs if plenty for my purposes and I'd say I get the full 50 ft night range with all the 60 LEDs firing. 3 shot burst gave me about 1-2 seconds between shots. I would say the shutter speed could be faster, but the manual says it's optimized. Some photos of my dogs were blurry, but my end use is not photographing dogs running full speed anyway. I set the date and it was ok for a while but then it defaulted back to 2008 for some reason; maybe I bumped the battery. I am satisfied for the $160 I paid. I had to have the blackflash and the range and I think it does that ok.

I am going back to the game camera either later today or tomorrow. I will post my results. Hopefully some nicer bucks stopped by. Hopefully my camera isn't stolen, wet, damaged or the batteries dead.

With those heads turned towards the camera it tells me that the camera is making some sort of noise, or has a light on it that the animals can see. I went thru that with my Primos TruthCam (even tho the IR filter didn't make hardly any noise), and after the digital display on it died I switched/upgraded to a StealthCam HD. Since then nothing has been caught staring at the camera.

Actually the camera makes no noise or flashes. About 100 yards back from the camera is the farmers house and shop area. He's always out there banging shit around or starting his semi. There is also a road right there so vehicels driving by might be catching their attention.

UPDATE: I went out yesterday to check the cam. I stepped in front of it to set it off for a last picture. Got in front of it. opened it, waited the 30 seconds delay to "WAKE" it up and see how many pictures are on it.... well i press the wake button and nothing.. press it again and again and nothing.finally i pressed the on off button and it wakes up. says low battery and 0001 pictures.

I took a digital camera with me to view them... and there is one picture and that is me waving my hand in front of it, dated that day of that minute....

So I have no idea what happened to the whole months worth of time it sat out there.. it the damn thing did anything at all.. If I didn't set it right before i left it. Maybe holding the wake button did something to it to erase them all. dunno but now im pissed cause i have to wait another month before i can check it again.
