Antenna and tuner question
i have a MFJ-1954 telescoping antenna that i picked up to use on my PAC-12 with different loading coils. MFJ states it can be used on 10, 12, and 15m my question is with a tuner can this thing be used on other freq's? would i need something other than just a CB style mount, IE some form of loading coil, grounding radials, anything else?
I believe I have the 12' version telescopic antenna. I've used mine on 20m and up with an adjustable coil and radials with an ft 897d and ldg tuner. Its not the greatest, but it does get out and it's portable.
