A new General In the house!

Well just got home from 2 days at the Hamcation in orlando was a pretty good show! Passed my General with a 31out of 35 so now I can play with the big dogs

Now time to study for the extra!

I guess spelling and the use of capital letters isn't part of the test?

thanks all i am taking the weekend off then start studying for my extra! My wife was kind of intrested in getting into the hobby and after going to the hamcation with me she is really intrested now she saw how many people are into the hobby and that there are alot of women in the hobby as well and talk to some and she got her tech manual and is going to start studying for her tech.

they are still doing the tech special for $20.....of course, she prolly could use your account to study General and pass both....If and when I get time on the books, I'll use again for Extra.

The Kenwood TS-590S is a wonderful rig. I like the fact that it has the built in modem for the digital modes. All you need is a USB cable and you are good to go.

Congrats! Now, when you get your HF rig up and running, you can join in on the fun. Check into the ARFCOM 80m SSB net on Tuesday nights and the Digital 20m/40m/80m net on Wednesday nights.

K9-Bob that is a nice looking rig i have to get the desk i got set up to get radio unboxed I got to play with it at hro and at the hamcation and really like it alot! I love what the NR does!!

WOW not to bad took my test last saturday and the FCC/ULS update the website on 2/17/12 six days not to shabby!
