Ok, I have a reel question, a very simple dumb one.

Like buying a baseball glove, left and right handed seems to confuse the shit out of people like me when buying something online.

I'm buying an Abu Garcia C4 and want it so that I'm holding the rod in the left hand and using my right hand to crank the reel.

Would that be labeled as a left or right handed reel?

I'm not sure about that but I just bought a small ultra light rod/reel combo for one of my kids and it seems to be backwards to me (die hard righty). Might try to get a different combo later but that is what they had at wally world when I was there.

Reel's are labled with which side the reel handle is on.

Right hand reels have the reel handle on the right side of the reel.

Left hand reels have the reel handle on the left side of the reel.

I'm a die hard righty, i reel with my left hand because I have more sensitivity and control with my right hand to feel the bite and fight the fish.
