We have been watching it since the premier. Interesting characters and a little cross section of human response to collapse of society in America with much of the military command structure taken out. A lot of selfishness and selflessness. I wish there had been a pilot so I could see how it started. It does get one to thinking.

Given that I live in MA and work within 15-20 minutes of their supposed area of operation, I have to laugh at bit.... The show has a lot more trees/surburan settings than the area actually does. Never mind the fact that the State has banned /12 the weapons shown in the show. Its OK but may have been better suited to NH or even ME if they wanted to keep it in New England.

You can't be serious. The Revolutionary War started in Mass. The Boston Tea Party was a precursor to the war, the Battles of Lexington and Concord were in Mass. If you understood what the show was about you would realize Boston is the perfect place for the show to be set.

Probably going to do the flash back stuff and let the old newspaper headlines do the story telling.

we are watching it, Its gives you a perspective of what masses might do from someones else's view point. You may never know what you learn from where, and its better then anything else on at least. best is NO comercials got to love the DVR.
What did yall think about
when the party came back with the truck load of food and the people where just halling off 50 # bags of asst stuff running for there tents/ spots they chose. There set up is a group kitchen so they should have delt with that in some way, being it was for the group it should go to the group.
when they took the cook and he stole the motorcycle, i would have shot him how about you.

Would you shoot the kids under control of the alien who are shooting at you.

I find too many holes in things to think it's really good... but it's better than watching nothing.

Are they starting to make the aliens seem too much like a caring "overlord/parent" type of character now?

Especially the scene in the hospital where it gathered all the kids in a circle and crouched over them petting one on the head.

I saw it as a political metaphor with the head petting alien representing Nancy Pelosi. The children only adore the aliens after being subjected to their mind control (propaganda/brainwashing). The aliens are progressives seeking to "save the children" by freeing them from the errant ways of the gun toting boston tea partiers....LOL

The clincher will come when the enthralled children begin redistributing the material wealth that they are gathering for their clearly superior progressive wards. The Mass resistance fighters are in peril because they cling to their guns and religion, thus hindering the truly "enlightened" from accomplishing their lofty goal of social justice in what has clearly become a "universal society". Open borders and progress don'tcha know!LOL

I could be wrong, but that's how I like to see it.LOL. My money is on the gun toting, God fearing, Boston resistance! Molon Labe you damn dirty skitters!!!

If anyone has missed this (like me) They are going to run all of the episodes this Sunday 8/7. I caught it last Sunday and thought it was pretty good. Seemed like it was much better than V. GOnna DVR on SUnday and try and watch them in order.

im from new hampshire and i find it hard to believe that so many gun fearing massholes could defend themselves, plus where the hell did all those select fire weapons come from, did they recon and scavenge up here in NH i dont think so, we wouldn't let our most prized possesions go that easily, i know they mentioned that some of it came from the national gaurd but where did noah wylie's character get the AKM or norinco type 56 and captain weaver's short barreled SIG 552 i dont belive those are issued by the weekend warriors. the timeline has been that the aliens first attacked about 7-8 months ago so theoretically they could have found those guns in homes or gotten them from people who were fighting with them and were killed but still i find that hard to believe that those types of rifles would be that common in MA, it's nearly impossible to travel legally through the city of boston with an "assualt rifle" stored in a locked container in the trunk of a vehicle let alone own one in the city, and as far as the rest of the state goes it isnt much better. i know its a tv show and obviously the writers have no knowledge of the laws they probably think that every god fearing Tea Party type has an arsenal in his buried school bus in the backyard!! its the small inaccuracies that bother me which in turn bothers my wife when we watch a tv show or movie and i pont them out in disgust.
