from another thread:

it's a gun story, a karate story, a gardening story, an action story, a family story, a lifechanging story.

I can't recommend it more highly. I have one of five proof copies, and I've STILL ordered three more.

and yes, the title is Lights Out. the author, David Crawford, posts here as Halffast.

either through Amazon or at lightsoutthebook.com

don't want this to turn into a "sales thread," so I'm not sayin' anything else.

I read it back when it was posted on the net. As soon as I was able to, I purchased a hard copy. This book is one of the best ways to get new people into prepping. It's not like patriots, or other simmillar titles that are very right leaning, or too techinical in nature. It is just an average joe that a lot of people not in to prepping can identify easily with. Very well written.

Heh..I printed out the 'net version, it is a big book for sure. I "pay-it-forwarded" the printed version and dont know where its at now. But I plan to order the legit copy tomorrow along with a new copy of Patriots.
