I put a visible green laser on hogs at night and they freak out, and also can freak out horses with it in the day time. I can coral them with it, pretty cool, saves me a lot of time.

Don't totally know if it's legal here in AZ, but I have used my Crimson Trace grips on my M9 to smoke a lot of rabbits in the last few minutes of sunlight. They don't seem to notice anything's happening until the bullet hits them.

You ever watch a dog chase a red laser? My guess would be that coyotes can definitely see it if dogs can. Now freak them out? might look like something fun to chase instead.

My dog will chase a little red dot until the energizers die. My stuck up kitty tries to not be interested, but I think she can see it too.

I don't know about SC laws but in Texas you can pretty much kill hogs and coyotes at any time by any means.

No, never tried red. The green laser I have is like a light saber at night, really frightens the pigs. I haven't seen any red lasers that powerful yet.

I use a otal 2 visible laser on one of my rigs hog hunting with nvd's. It works fine but the bloom is kind of bad when you put it on your target. I don't leave the laser on the target very long, and I don't get the beam to close to the eyes. Hit the pressure switch with the laser above the hog then drop it to the POI then shoot. The otal is on the same rig as the d-760 now. Sometimes while helmet mounted you can run in to quite a few hogs close, and its just easier hitting running targets for me with the laser.

Frogot its a red laser.
