hey guys, im new to this filter game, is that one of the better filters? how are katadyne and the other ones? what is the industry standard? i dont wanna spend too much, 80 is about my limit for that right now. ( I shoulda bought it)

I like the msr miniworks filter. It has great filter life (2000 litres+)
uses a ceramic filter, built like a tank and priced right. I have 2 of them.

If you still have to use tablets to kill bacteria why even go to the trouble of using the pump filter. not being a smart ass just wondering.

You dont use tablets.
it filters out bacteria and crypto also.

It's a good price... best found right now is $75 with free shipping here: MSR $75
Everything through amazon seems to charge me tax too. The above site shouldn't have any TAX either, so it's within a few dollars of the same price. (Part of amazon is based in WA)
