blackbird SK-5 ontario knife
Does anybody have one. I like this style of knife. I am hestitant to buy it because of the 149.00 price. But it looks good.

id look into ESEE knives..
I have a similar custom knife that I designed myself. No super duper bushcraft guru skills needed, I just sketched out what I wanted and sent it to a guy who's good at making knives.
The steel is similar to 1095, a good carbon steel. $149.00 is reasonable for the materials you're getting. I've seen mixed reviews on the craftsmanship of Ontario's Blackbird though.
If you like that style, there are a lot of options. That style is attributed to Horace Kephart. Search google for kephart knife and you'll get lots of hits for similar knives made by various custom makers.
ps - if you're feeling ambitious, you can get a similar (but thinner) carbon steel blade really cheap and put your own handles on it. If you're wondering how you'll like that style you can find out a lot cheaper than $150. Here's a blade for 11 bucks:
track of the wolf
OP,
Check out our EE, there are several high quality knives going for well under retail.
For that kind of money, you could pretty much step up to a Bark River or Blind Horse, both superior knives IMHO.154CM is a great steel, but not as mainstream as 440 or 1095 like Ontario normally uses. Ever since their fiasco with the D2 or S30V RAT knives I've been hesitant to purchase any of their better steel products. Check out knivesshipfree.com for some other options, or if you want to go mid-tech semi custom like the Track of the Wolf blank above give me a shout. I do some custom and mid-tech knife work on the side.
When I first saw this knife, I thought ; "Somebody gets it". I still think the design is flawless and Ontario is a great, all American knife maker.
Matter of fact, ifit was 1095, I'd probleby already own one. I already have a few knives that do that job very well so....
Great design.

Price seems fine for a decent knife. BUT, at that price, I could grab either an ESEE-5 or an ESEE-6. And frankly, I suspect a ESEE-5 would kick that thing's tail.

This. Ontario RATs are good knives but not as good as ESEE knives.
Good luck.
