A few years ago a friend of mine gave me an Orvis Fly Rod and Reel. I've thoroughly enjoyed fishing with it and was seriously bummed when I broke it last week.
I called Orvis and asked if they had any kind of repair program. Since I broke it through my own stupidity, I just wanted to know where I could send it to get it fixed and how much it would cost.
They asked me how old it was. I told them. They gave me a repair number and an address. I shipped it out priority mail (cost me $10). Today, I received a BRAND NEW Clearwater Rod AND a BRAND NEW Rod Case.

Good Folks to deal with!
Edit for grammar
Orvis has a full replacement 25-year guarantee policy on MOST, but mot all, of their rods. And it doesn't matter how they were broken. The only ones that aren't guaranteed are the imports like the 6-piece rods.
They won't guarantee blanks either.
Yup I broke my 9WT last year salmon fishing. The local Orvis dealer sent it off for me no charge. Two weeks later I got a call from him that my new rod was there waiting
