10ft john boat repair

I have a 10fT alumminum john boat that ive been trying to get fixed for the last year or so. The braces that run across the bottom of the boat broke in half and every boat repair shop in my area say that they no longer repair these boats. I already tried Cabellas and Bass Pro Shops i even tryed wallmart. The length of each brace is 4ft long and 3 1/2 inch wide any help will be appreciated this is a picture of what it looked like prior to removeing it

have you tryed just going to a steel shop and seeing how much it would be for them to fab up the part?
otherwise, i'v seen those boats go for as little as $200 on CL. it might be cheaper to just get a new(used) one
