my rig
2006 Action Craft 1802 Tournament Editition. 115hp Suzuki 4 stroke. 21' Biscayne push pole, 80lb-thrust Minn Kota Riptide trolling motor.

That looks like a fun boat. Just curious how it rides and handles in waves.
The most waves we get are the ones from river barge pushers, pleasure craft, bass rigs, and tube, ski, wake board pullers. Hole shots from these put out a mighty wake.
In answer to your question of ride,
It's a heavier skiff, which is good here on the Indian River Lagoon. It's fast and great on flat water. It's a bit heavy to pole though, depending on the number of guys and amount of tackle I'm fishing. But, at the end of the day when we get a pretty good wind chop, the extra weight saves your back and ass on the ride home. Overall, it's a great boat and I've had no problems. But, as always, I still have to slow down for the 'booze barges' and such when they throw up a big wake.
