Lemon Bay/Englewood Florida
So I am going to Englewood florida for the week of Christmas to do some fishing with my Dad. He is spending the winter down there and taking his boat. We're both pretty good freshawater fisherman, but he has zero saltwater experience and my salt water experience is limited to surf fishing the outer banks of NC, a few striper trips on the Chesapeke, and one off shore trip in Hawaii.
So basically we know little to nothing about in shore shallow water fishing like what we expect see in Lemon Bay. Can anyone here give me a brief primer on the basics. What sort of tackle and techniques we should use. Not asking for any info on your secret spots, just the basics in order to flatten out the learning curve a little for our first attempt.
