How much do you guys think it weighed? I measured about as big as I thought it was guessing 36". I was fishing a mepps xd spinner and felt line tension so I set the hook, and start reeling it felt like I was getin no where with it I had no idea what it was a turtle or a catfish, it was the best fight I ever had from a fish about 3 minutes peeled alot of line I almost snaped my rod I was so excited then I finely realized I needed to let him have some line and take it easy if I wanted to bring this fish in. I ended up snagging his dorsal fin and barley caught him.

I've caught a lot of carp, both hook and line and bowfishing. I would say that fish looks about 23-25lbs. DAMN NICE FISH!

i think that may be a buffalo, the mouth looks too much out front for a carp. Thats a nice one either way though

Buffalo are native but still considered a rough fish. An easy way to tell them apart from a Common Carp is that the Common Carp will have barbles around the mouth while a Buffalo will not.
