Is this a Redfin Shiner?

All i could find before were male pictures, this must be a female if it is a Redfin. This one seems to have a much darker back than most of the pictures i can find online.

I was just dinkin around at a local pond for pan fish, just never saw a fish like that before.
Shoulda floated him a bit further out and see what i could get....
Although, all i had was an ultralight....i'm not sure i could have casted him out there.
