Here's an ironic story.
I have a boat and fish all the time. We practically lived on the boat during the warmer months fishing twice a day, mornings and evenings.
To have a change of pace, we decide to go camping and select a nice spot on the water. I get up at around 5AM and start fishing with my ultra-light rod and real. I'm catching nothing but small fish so switch from lure to a small piece of crawler and bottom fishing.
What you know, I hook the largest bass I ever caught by my scale 9.1 lbs on the bottom no less.
It was interesting how nobody was around at all but as I was fighting the beast and after I landed it, there was a number of people there commenting or wanting their picture taken with the fish. Its like they came out of the woodwork.
