Help me put weight on my dog
I have a GSH and he just wont put any weight on, he just runs it off every day. He is a very active and loves being out side. He plays outside 4-5 hours every day, most of it spent just running. He is 15 months and currently eats a total 5-5.5 cups divided 2X a day of purina puppy chow. (My labs only eat 4 cups a day) He is so skinny it looks like we abuse him and don't feed him, you can see his ribs and the top of his spine is visible. I have thought of switching to 3X a day feeding, but its hard to get him to eat all of his food as it is already. He is not fixed, but is on the list of the local humane society, its 8x cheaper if they do it verses the Vet.
