Training to shed hunt and my new buddy

Wondering if anyone has trained their dog to hunt sheds and how did you do it. Have read a few articles on the net but just seeing if anyone has any other techniques.
Here's my new pup Gunner. Got him from a well known local trainer/breeder. 13 weeks old today.
