Recommend a dog for me
I am looking for an all around hunting buddy. I hunt alot in the south texas brush country and dont want a very large dog, nothing bigger than a lab. Also, I can't spend hundreds of dollars on a dog either.
-Definately not gun shy.
-I hunt alot of rabbits, dove, and hogs( I doubt I will ever use this dog for pinning down hogs, I have seen to many dogs get ripped up from that).
-Gets along with other dogs well, no telling how many mutts will be at our hunting area and I can't have fighting, but I dont want a dog that will get raped by anything that starts shit with him, so I have to worry about him all the time.
-Ill say it again, not very expensive
Basically, just a medium sized all around hunting buddy that will chase small game, maybe retrieve some doves and not run away from gun shots... what do you recommend?
